Biography

'Adrian's father was a heart surgeon. He recieved a football scholarship to the University of Florida in 1983. An accident in his first year at UF injured his legs ending any future in football. He finished his freshman year from a wheelchair while getting involved with campus theatre. Unable to play football he dropped out of school and took a job with a theatre group in his hometown. He had an accident while working on a set putting him on medical disability. Adrian used his compensation to attend the Lee Strasberbg theatre institute. At the age of 19, he auditioned for Top Gun and the Director was so impressed that he wrote the part of "Chipper" just for him. This lead to roles in a number of other movies including Solarbabies, Streets of Gold cult vampire movie Near Dark , with Adrian in the lead role of Caleb Colton. A major break came in 1995, when Adrian was cast as the title character on the short-lived Fox series Profit . He continues to act in supporting roles and has now added directing to his already impressive body of work.
