Biography

Grant was born in Detroit, Michigan on February 27, 1962 to Ed & Kathleen Show. His parents moved to San Jose, California where Grant and his sister Kelly grew up. He performed in plays at Samuel Ayer High School and studied theatre arts at UCLA. He dropped out of school during his senior year after he won a role on Ryan's Hope. 3 years later he moved to England to study for a year at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. In 1992 he landed a co-starring role on Melrose Place becoming more recoginized as 'Jake Hanson' than any other role to date. He left Melrose Place after 5 seasons.

His many hobbies include: riding motorcycles, running, lifting weights, racing cars, fly fishing and golfing which he has been playing since 1990, however he didn't seriously take up the sport until 1994. His most favorite golf cources are Nickolas course at PGA West in Palm Springs and Troon North in Carefree, AR.

Grant has been linked to many well known actresses including Yasmine Bleeth his co-star on Ryan's Hope and Laura Leighton from Melrose Place. Most recently he's been linked to Lisa Guerrero Coles, which I'm told is no longer true, but that's his business not mine or yours.

Grant currently lives in Beachwood, CA where he owns a home.
