When the producers of Arnold Schwarzenegger's Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991) needed an actor to play the angelic-faced but black-hearted cyborg villain Evil T-1000, they looked no farther than a 1986 Terminator rip-off titled Future Hunters. The heavy of that piece was portrayed by Georgia-born actor Robert Patrick, who despite being considerably shorter than Schwarzenegger, conveyed the proper punkish menace to qualify for the Terminator sequel. Since the release of Judgment Day, Patrick has found himself essaying virtually nothing but Evil T-1000 retreads. This career syndrome was played for laughs when Robert Patrick showed up as the "Evil Cop" in the final scenes of Wayne's World (1992). ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide
