Alison Whyte is a Tasmanian-born Australian actress best known for her role on Frontline.
Whyte studied Classical Ballet for eight years and eventually graduated from the Victorian College of the Arts. Whyte was a Logie Award winner and audience favorite as Emma Ward, the producer on Frontline, ABC's parody of current affairs programs. In 2002, she joined Lisa McCune and William McInnes in the legal dramedy Marshall Law which was cancelled after one season. She has also appeared in Good Guys Bad Guys, Dogwoman, and in the James Balian two-actor film Saturday Night, with Aaron Pedersen. Whyte has had guest roles on Blue Heelers and SeaChange. Since 1995 Whyte and her husband Fred Whitlock have run the Terminus Hotel in Abbotsford, Victoria. Their pub is noted for not having any gaming machines. Small Claims 3: The Reunion (2005) (TV)
