Biography

Amy Jo was born on October 6, 1970 in Cape Cod, Massachusetts. As a child she competed as a gymnast, learning skills that would later be of great use to her in her breakthrough role as the Pink Ranger. She gave up competing when she was 17, and concentrated more on her acting interests, appearing in various community theatre projects. After graduating high school she went to New York to study at the American Musical Dramatic Academy. Two years later she moved to California and landed the part as the Pink Ranger. After The Power Rangers she did several television movies. Amy is a memeber of the band Valhalla, where she is the lead singer and guitarist. Amy loves painting. She has a pet pit bull named Lucy.
