Amy was born July 17, 1972, in Peoria, Illinois. The small farm-town girl was always a risk taker while growing up, engaging in thrilling activities like motorcycle racing.
After movin to Los Angeles to start an acting career Amy was immediately discovered by a modeling agent. Her television career began with commercials for products like Nestea and Miller Brewing Co. She has been in many tv series including Saved By The Bell, Silk Stalkings, L.A. Heat, and Melrose Place.
Amy has successfully made the transition to film, with a supporting role in Hunt for National Treasure, and lead roles in Scarlet Mirror, Games (a.k.a Forbidden Games), The Bet, Dr. Life, Art House (1998), Kolobos (1999), The Contract, and Starforce (2000).Amy has starred in theatre productions of Reservations for Two, 110 in the Shade, Apocalyptic Butterflies, Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, and Grease.
Amy was also a successful bikini model, she has been on the cover of magazines such as Play.boy (Mexico), Bathing Beauties, Bikini Girls, American Swimwear, and Sports Scene.
She is very athletic and enjoys sports activities like horseback riding, gymnastics, kickboxing, rollerblading, dancing, and snowboarding.
