Carrie-Anne was born on August 21, 1967 in Vancouver , British Columbia, Canada. She is the youngest of two children. At the age of 11, she was acting in school plays. At 17 she was taking acting classes. During her senior year at Magee Secondary, she went to Europe with her school choir. In Spain, she landed a role on the TV show Dark Justice (1991) which was produced in Spain during the first season. The shows production moved to L.A after only one season. Carrie-Anne headed to California in search of better acting roles, there.
