Biography

Emmanuelle was born on December 10th, 1977 in the Montreal Quebec, Canada. She is Moroccan and has both an older sister and brother. Her family moved to Toronto when she was only 6. When she was 9 she wanted to take acting lessons so her brother Serge, who was 18 at the time, paid for the classes. She made her acting debut at 10 in a McDonald's commercial. After a few years she moved to Vancouver and began auditioning for TV shows. she landed guest-starring roles in the mid-'90s, in series such as Are You Afraid of the Dark?, Forever Knight, Kung Fu, Once a Thief, and Psi Factor. After this she began getting parts in tv movies including Harrison Bergeron (1995) with Christopher Plummer and Sean Astin, Unwed Father (1997), Principal Takes a Holiday (1998) with Kevin Nealon, and Futuresport (1998) with Wesley Snipes and Vanessa Williams. Her first Hollywood role was a supporting role in Detroit Rock City (1999). Then came her biggest part in the Nickelodeon production Snow Day (2000).
