Biography

Kathy Ireland was born March 8th, 1963 in Glendale, California. Kathy married Greg Olsen, who is a surgeon. Kathy and her husband have two children, Erik who was born in May 1994 and Lily Marie who was born on October, 27, 1998. She began modeling at 17 when Elite picked her up, and from there her career took off.

A few years later, in 1984, she appeared in the coveted annual Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. She then went on to appear in Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue a record 11 times, gracing the cover 3 times, including the 25th anniversary issue. Kathy can be seen in countless magazines, TV shows, and movies. For the last 5 years she's released a calendar, and will continue to do so in the future. Kathy also has a fitness video out called Kathy Ireland's Total Fitness Workout. She is also the contributing editor for FITNESS magazine. In her spare time she reads the Bible and is a Sunday School teacher.
