Jump to: navigation, search Kerry Katona in the Cradle videoKerry Jayne Elizabeth Katona (previously Kerry McFadden) (born 6th September 1980 in Warrington, UK) is a British television presenter and former pop singer with girl band Atomic Kitten, now living in Winwick, Warrington. She later admitted to never having sung on any of the group's songs while she was a member, although her spoken-word vocals feature on the group's biggest hit Whole Again. Prior to embarking on a pop career, she worked as a topless model. Katona left Atomic Kitten in 2001 when she became pregnant, having enjoyed limited success with the band in the UK. She did however, have a major hit with "Cradle" in South East Asia in which she danced smoothly and even had a speaking part. From there she moved into television, appearing on and presenting a mix of light entertainment programmes such as Britain's Sexiest..., Loose Women and Elimidate. In February 2004 Katona won the third British series of reality TV show I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here!. She recently starred in an Irish drama series called Showbands, continuing her love affair with the emerald isle despite her well documented break-up with former Westlife heartthrob Brian McFadden. [edit] Although her celebrity status has somewhat declined, she has a regular column in OK magazine and also has landed a job as the face of the budget food store, Iceland.
