Biography

Lexa Doig is one of those promising young actors who has had a string of sci-fi related movies notched onto her resume but with Jason X, she is bound to be getting some real attention for herself.

Born June 8 1973 in Toronto, Ontario, a fellow Canuck like myself (therefore she deserves this page as being a Canuck actor is hard enough) to her father David and Mother Gloria. Her father is of English/Scottish heritage and her mother Filipina. She has one sibling, an older brother named Ted.

A high school drop out (oddly enough in her final year) she has since gone onto success by appearing sci-fi movies and shows like Tekwar, Andromeda, while building herself a feature film resume with B-films like Jungleground and The Tracker.

Then in 1999 she landed a role in Jason X and although it has taken three years for the film to hit the big screen (who knows why? I gt a kick out of it...) Lexa should be prepared to see her stock rise in an industry that loves atttractive, quirky and talented women.
