Biography

Ever since the young age of 4, Sarah has experienced an illustrious career in film and television. After being discovered at at a local restaurant, Sarah was on her way to her first film, "An Invasion of Privacy." In addition to being one of the two regular hostesses of the TV talkshow, "Girl Talk", she has appeared in the films: "Over the Brooklyn Bridge", "Funny Farm", and "High Stakes", as well as a role which gained her a small, but loyal fanbase called "Swans Crossing."

On February 24th 1993 Sarah landed a role on the popular soap "All My Children", where she played Kendall Hart, who was originally thought to be Erica Kane's assistant, but the storyline later revealed that she was Erica's long-lost daughter who ended up raising hell for her mother. She was nominated for a daytime emmy for her perfomance. Although she lost, she was nominated again and won for the category "Best Younger Actress." The day after her emmy acceptance, Sarah made it public that she was going to leave the show and pursue fame in film or television.

Perhaps the biggest breakthough of Sarah's career came in 1996 when Sarah was given the role of Buffy Summers in the popular television show, based on the movie by the same name, "Buffy The Vampire Slayer", the show didn't do very well in it's first season (it ranked 100th out of 107 programs in the Nielson ratings), but by the second season it shot up as high as 22, which is extremely high considering the show is on the WB network(which is not as popular as the major networks like NBC or ABC, etc.) making it the most popular show on the network.

On a recent note, Sarah co-starred alongside Jennifer Love Hewitt in the Kevin Williamson horror film "I Know What You Did Last Summer" about a group of teenagers who are haunted by the man that they hit in their car and ran from. It was released on October 17th and became number 1 that weekend earning a profit in just 2 days. Shortly after I Know What You Did Last Summer, Sarah flew down to Georgia for the filming of another Kevin Williamson movie - Scream 2, which had the largest ever opening for a December film and made more money in it's first week than the rest of the top 10 combined. Sarah is currently set to star alongside Ryan Phillipe, and Reese Witherspoon in the modern retelling of Dangerous Liasons entitled "Cruel Intentions." Following Cruel Intentions, Sarah is set to star in another movie entitled "Vanilla Fog" about a department store executive who tries to resist falling in love with a a young woman (Sarah) whom he believes has magical powers after inheriting the restaraunt. Starring alongside Sarah in this movie will be Sean Patrick Flanery.

On March 10th 1998, Sarah won a Blockbuster Entertainment Award in the category of "favorite supporting actress in a horror movie" for her role in I Know What You Did Last Summer, voted upon by the people.

1999 : Sarah stars in the movie "Cruel Intentions", based upon the noevl "Les liaisons dangeureuses", as the most bitchy girl you've ever seen. A majestic role.
