TEA LEONI has starred in two science fiction blockbusters
executive produced by Steven Spielberg, beginning with 1998's Deep Impact,
directed by Mimi Leder and also starring Morgan Freeman and Robert Duvall,
which became one of that summer's biggest hits. This past summer, she
starred in the hit sequel Jurassic Park III, directed by Joe Johnston,
and also starring Sam Neill and William H. Macy. On television, Leoni starred on NBC's critically acclaimed series The Naked Truth, playing Nora Wilde, a former socialite and photojournalist, who is forced to take a job as a tabloid photographer. She had earlier been a regular on the Fox series Flying Blind. A native New Yorker, Leoni first became interested in acting through the influence of her grandmother, a former Broadway actress. After studying at Sarah Lawrence College, Leoni took time off to travel, living in Tokyo, Italy and on St. Croix. Returning to New York, she began to pursue her career and soon landed a role on the Charlie's Angels spinoff, Angels 88. After relocating to Los Angeles for the series, Leoni went on to make her feature film debut in Blake Edwards' Switch. She also appeared in such films as Penny Marshall's A League of Their Own and Lawrence Kasdan's Wyatt Earp, starring Kevin Costner. Tell us what you think of Téa Leoni in
