Angela Dimitriou (born Athens, Greece) is a Greek singer. She is most famous in the Arab countries across the Middle East, with her song "Margarites" hitting the top of the charts in Lebanon, among other places. She made a song with the Egyptian singer Amr Diab called "Ana bahebak aktar." She is often criticized because of her low education and her comic manner of verbal expression. Some of her most infamous lines include the following (roughly translated from Greek):

"I like spending time in Sounion and enjoying the views to the Atlantic." (TV interview)
"It's because I eat personal hygiene items." (When asked during a TV interview how she keeps her looks)
"No. 2, 3 and 8." (When asked during a TV interview which songs from her latest CD were bound to become hits)
"I have never been to Turkey. I have only been to Istanbul." (TV interview)
"I am afraid of only one person; God." (TV interview)
"From all the artists still around, I'm most happy to have co-operated with the late Stelios Dionysiou." (TV interview)
"I admire Gandhi a great deal. He did so much for China." (TV interview)
"I would like to be left alone and live a quiet and personal life." (TV interview)
