The boy band, N*SYNC, popped into the scene a year after The Backstreet Boys. Their first hit song was, “I Want You Back”. Their cute faces and difficult dance moves won a place in everyone’s hearts. Their producer, Lou Pearlman put the last letter of each of their firsts names to come up with NSYNC. Lance Bass was not an original member, there was a guy named, Jason that quit. JustiN, ChriS, JoeY, JasoN and JC=NSYNC, after Jason quit and Lance was hired, the group and producer decided that Lance’s name was going to be LansteN, in order to get the last N.
