Biography

Carol Alt was discovered waiting tables during her freshman year at Hofstra University and was studying prelaw. Soon afterwards, she became a sucessful model with the Elite Agency. Now she is focusing her efforts on an acting career. In her spare time, she enjoys riding horses, playing golf, basketball, singing, driving race cars, traveling, and answering her fan mail.
Carol Alt has also appeared in two exercise videos and the first Sports Illustrated Swimsuit video. In addition, she has been in several advertisements featuring products by companies such as Hanes, Virginia Slims, and Cover Girl. To compliment these achievements, she has released several posters and numerous calendars. The majority of her films are created and released in Italy. One thing nice about Carol Alt is that she is very pleasant to her fans and will often sign autographs. She has also worked on the second "Supermodels in the Rainforest" project. Both Entertainment Tonight and Access Hollywood have had stories about Carol Alt and occasionally she is a guest commentator.
Once dubbed by Life magazine as "The Face," Carol Alt is a living legend in the fashion world. A true pioneer in her field, she rose to stardom before the term "supermodel" even existed, but helped introduce it into our vernacular along with Cheryl Tiegs and Christie Brinkley.
